• The business is located within Cambridge, Massachusetts city limits
• The business is currently operating (not temporarily or permanently closed)
• Contact information, address, and hours are accurate
• The business has a positive reputation in the local community

We use multiple verification sources including Google My Business, direct phone confirmation, in-person visits, and official city records when available.

Independence & No Paid Placements

Guide to Cambridge maintains complete editorial independence:

• No sponsored listings: We do not accept payment to include or promote any business.
• No affiliate relationships: We do not receive commissions for reservations or purchases.
• No advertising influence: If we ever introduce advertising, it will be clearly separated from editorial content.

If our policies ever change, we will clearly disclose this on our site.

Local Sourcing

We prioritize information from people who actually live in or regularly visit Cambridge:

• Recommendations from Cambridge residents carry more weight than tourist reviews
• We monitor local community forums and social media for genuine feedback
• Our founder and contributors are Cambridge-based whenever possible
