Welcome to Guide to Cambridge, a new source for all things Cambridge. And by that we mean- Massachusetts, not that “other” city in the UK. At least we think it’s still in the UK, we’re launching this site around #Brexit. It’s so hard to figure out what’s going on in Cambridge— and essentially, we were tired of Boston Magazine trying to tell us what they thought was cool. So we’re dedicated to giving you the very best of Cambridge, with a focus on food, drink and Cantabridgian uniqueness. We hope you enjoy our site as much as we enjoyed building it. So, you’re visiting our fair city for the first time. You have friends coming in from out of town and you want to show them a good time. Where do they go?

This is where we come in– we are your guide to Cambridge, Massachusetts and Cantabridgian uniqueness. We will be telling you about all the great restaurants, bars, shops and activities that this beautiful city has to offer– with a focus on food, drink and Cantabridgian uniqueness (we told you we were distinctive). We hope to not only offer suggestions but also shine light on some of lesser-known treasures of this vibrant community.

The best way to discover the riches of our great city is to explore it by foot. Start at Harvard Square, the heart of Cambridge and home to some of the best shopping and restaurants in town. Then move on to Porter Square, where there are more restaurants around every corner (literally). Cross Mass Ave and enter Central Square which offers a diverse range of dining options depending on your mood.

If you’re in the mood for some live music, head over to The Sinclair, an intimate concert venue with a great beer selection. Feed your belly at Cambridge Brewing Company, a downtown favorite with a great selection of exports and local favorites.

Physically and visually, Cambridge is very diverse– be sure to check out Somerville and Brookline for more great eats, shopping and activities. And if you’re looking for a great night out with the girls, be sure to entertain them at any one of the many thriving restaurants in Central Square. Check out the Blue Owl, our favorite bar EVAH!
