We showed up with about 14 people for a birthday party shortly before a group of 50 was scheduled to arrive for dinner. The owner, Caitlin, took such good care of us. She let us move to the loft and coordinated with the kitchen to make sure we'd get our orders in before the group arrived. Turns out the loft is a really cool space with some history behind it! Caitlin was super sweet and fun to talk to, and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Some of the best service I've had in my life. And the beer was, as always, amazing

We hosted a baby shower in the Brewer's Loft and I highly recommend Slumbrew. The owner was responsive to our emails in advance of the event, they had transparent (and reasonable) pricing, and they were very easy to work with. The food and beer were DELICIOUS and the space was just right for about 30 people to hang out comfortably. The loft also overlooks the brewing equipment (not the taproom) so it feels even more private in person than it looked from the brochure. Would 100% host another event there, and will definitely be returning for beer!

DRINKS REVIEW

I didn't get food so I can't speak to that but the vibes at this place are great. The interior feels like it was something else before a brewery (and I'm sure that was the case) which gives it a unique feel. Wish it was closer to where I live, it was kind of hard to get here (no easy way on public transportation).

The beers are unique and uniquely named like Happy Sol and Raising Helles (or GF Yourself for the gluten-free beer). They even have beer cocktails for the more adventurous...given that it was autumn, we had a pumpkin beer mixed with apple cider. Was it basic? Yes. Was it delicious? Also yes.

With a nickname like Slumbrew, this place is humble but inviting.

We went on their comedy night which is hit or miss as any comedy show is but worth a visit if you happen to be around on those nights (tickets required).

The beer offering was average with some good, some just ok and couple others that I'd leave on the bar.

The cheese and meat board is well done and is sized to be shared. We had dinner as well and the mains were all pretty good. My sandwich was surprisingly fresh and tasty aside from the produce sticker that I found in it and we all agreed that the mac and cheese left something to be desired.

The beers are really good and their prices make it worth going. I’ve had a good time going for just drinks but multiple bad experiences with food. I am aware that it’s busy sometimes but 50 minutes for nachos and after asking the server for an update and being told they haven’t been started yet is bad. I will only be getting beers to go if I come back.
