Much smaller than the other location that we went to but the staff kept the people flowing through. They still had a great selection and it was as delicious as anything. We were having brunch over in Cambridge and a friend decided they needed to try Mike’s Pastry before leaving, this was perfect for us. We walked in, bought a bunch, and left to eat as we explored.
The problem with Mike's Pastry is you're going to walk in and want about 12 different things there. In my first visit, I settled on a cannoli, and coming from NYC, I was amazed how it was on a completely other level from what I've had there. I'll be back at Mike's soon. Next up, a Napoleon French custard pastry. Yum.
I bought a box full of assorted cookies. Some of them were not what I chose. The cookies are not tasty. Some of them are pretty hard and with no much of a taste. One could notice that it’s not a real bakery where the cookies should be always fresh and the ingredients are better than what you would get at the supermarket. It’s overpriced for what it is. Very disappointed.
They accept card and they have limited seating. The staff are nice and they're open pretty late. One time I did get a cannoli where the ricotta was a little off. But they also have a good selection of other pastries.
A wide variety of Italian pastries. Cannolies were good and rich with flavor. Had the creme cheese filling (I am not sure if the filling was suppose to be “runny” because it was) I struggled a bit while eating the cannoli. Still, it was good.
