Strong antique vibe throughout. Food was good when considering it's only an inn. Rooms were very comfortable and well kept. First floor dining space was gorgeous.

Really nice inn. Lisa innkeeper lovely
The weekend girl helpers were not so helpful or knowledgable. "Are there cushions for the outside chairs?" Girls answer: "I literally don't have a clue." And didnt get up to look or ....fixture falling apart in shower room 14 falling apart. Comfy bed. Nice linens. The yummiest cookies at tea time.

The outdoor rooms, maybe old carriage house, are the coolest rooms.

I enjoyed staying here, the beds are comfy and the place looks great. However, breakfast was only so-so, including only one full option. This would normally still qualify for five stars except that the chandelier made noise due to a loose piece whenever the air conditioner of the unit above ours kicked on, resulting in an interrupted nap.

Always a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. I've been coming here for work once a year for many years. For breakfast you can choose between a full or continental and I'm always happy with the quality. Much better than the usual breakfast fair that you get. Each room is different with its own amenities and/or quirks. Some have issues with noise from guests coming in and out it close proximity to the kitchen area. I've never experienced this myself but colleagues have. The wifi has not been great in past years but a recent upgrade to a mesh network has greatly improved that. The hotel itself is a 10m walk to Porter square and ~15m to the Harvard campus.
