Fish is brain food, so it makes perfect sense that Legal Sea Foods is a popular destination for those in Harvard Square. Located in the courtyard of the Charles Hotel, our restaurant evokes the simple style of the original Legal Sea Foods that was in nearby Inman Square, Cambridge. In warmer months our outside patio reels in those who choose the fresh seafood and fresh air combo.

Legal Seafood Restaurants are a great place for excellent fresh seafood. This location doesn't let down the brand, the Sole was great, I was very pleased. The service was wonderful with our waitress, but the host's seemed to have been absent...

The cocktails are tasty, if weak.

But overall I was very pleased.

I mean I know this place is famous and the food is good. I really don’t like their service. I came for lunch and they basically offer zero service. We ask for menu and water. At the end, when we ask for bill, the lady said we needed to pay more tips because they earn very little per hour. It was the first meal since I arrived U.S. it is not my fault to pay you little wage. I don’t like she saying that to us, as customer.

Jeremy, our waiter, made our dinner experience 5 stars. He was fun, warm, charming, and generous. I will let the accompanying photos speak for themselves on the beautiful ambiance and delectable sea food.

One of the best gluten free restaurants anyone could go to. Delicious. When was the last time you had fried scallops, for those of you who can't eat gluten? You can have them here along with lots of other wonderful choices.

Horrible customer service!!! The waitress was nice and friendly. However, she misunderstood my order. I ordered BAKED lobster, and they gave me STEAMED one.

Here is the funny part:

After I told them it was not what I ordered. The first waiter took it away and then TOOK IT BACK, telling me this is the lobster I am gonna get.

Then, my waitress came to apologize for the wrong order and tried to take it away, the manager(a guy in grey suit, I think he is the manager) came and STOPPED her! And he reinforced to me that is the lobster I am gonna get, and they will give me clams later (because the baked lobster course has clams in it ).

Me and my sister are new to Boston and I want to take her out for a great dinner. It turned out to be a horrible experience. I get that it is an expensive course(65 dollars for the baked lobster) and maybe the manager doesn't want to waste it. But I know these are two different dishes and we have been treated unfairly.
