Crema is one of the best cafes in the region. Top notch George Howell coffee/espresso, homemade treats, fantastic service/staff - always quick getting the order out despite the busy crowd which is almost every hour of every day. So, if there's a drawback about this spot it's that it's hard to find a seat there. But don't let that deter you from going here. It's a top notch local business that offers a great high quality selection of food/coffee/tea

Best baked goods and coffee on Harvard Square. Light roast house blend is awesome and I'm a home roaster.

Update for December 2018– they are closing! Lost their lease to an Australian coffee chain. Harvard Square is changing dramatically from family-owned to corporate. Sad

Very good coffee including a rotating exotic varietal. Breakfast food and sweets are well done also! A star off because the service is usually a little snooty - I asked one question about a menu item last time and got an eye-roll.

The coffee was very good. Strong but rich in flavour. A little bitter and a little acidic. Perfect.
The banana last was even better. Delicate, rich yet not too sweet.
The service was friendly and patient.
Highly recommended.

We had a quick breakfast and later the same day quick lunch. But, overall it was well done.

The cold brew was good, not perfect, but good - too much ice (I did not ask for less so my fault). The croissant looked really good, and according to the 12 year old was really “airy”.

Our salad at lunch was prepared prior to our arrive (prepackaged)and in a container so that is why I gave the four star rating. But otherwise it tasted great.

Easy access from anywhere in the Harvard area - it is right off the T Line and walking distance from anywhere in the area.

Price was decent, comparable to everything else in the area (pricey). But, if you are here visiting it is not anything to complain about.

We probably will not return this trip, but definitely would come back here on follow up trips.
