Long-running mom-&-pop stop for quick counter-serve subs, Greek-style pizza, salads & dinner plates.
Been going there for many many years. Friendly place with a huge selection of hearty and delicious Subs Pizza & More.
The food here really is a big cut above the usual Sub Shop. There's a wide variety of seafood and chicken dishes.
This staff is really efficient and you don't have much of a wait.
If you're in the area, don't bother going to any of the chains. Go to Ma Magoo's for a unique experience.
This little gem is tucked away a bit in between 2 rotaries in Cambridge so you'll have to keep a keen eye open for it to know when to turn!
I saw pictures of the food here when searching for nearby restaurants and when I saw the photos of their fried chicken tenders I knew I had to give this a go.
First off, note that the parking spaces are limited at the front though you can easily park at the nearby Whole Foods and walk over without any real issues.
The interior is small so I would advise against bringing in a large group of people. The place won't win any awards for "cleanest dining area ever" but it's typical for a "mom and pop" type of business establishment. They have what looks like to be a new menu display (large LCD TV's) making things easy to read.
I opted for their Chicken tender club meal which comes with honey mustard, lettuce, tomato and lots of bacon and friend chicken on your choice of bread. In addition, it also came with a choice of fries or onion rings (or both for an additional nominal fee). Their signature honey mustard is delicious (reminds me of the honey mustard at the Wings Over chains which is fantastic) and the sandwich definitely didn't skimp on the bacon or chicken.
I will definitely return to try their chicken finger sub and will probably also grab their honey mustard sauce (I believe it's $5.75 for 16oz). Price wise this place is middle of the road which prevents me from giving this place a confident 5 star rating (I can see they increased their prices from prior reviews which is understandable but unfortunate)
I've been coming to this place since I was a child. I must say the food and staff are great. I personally love the calzones and the subs. The chicken cutlet sub with the honey mustard seems to be their specialty. The honey mustard is the best I've ever had. They refuse to give me the recipe but that's what keeps me coming back.
Food is amazing however not enough parking and the spoiled college brats need an asswhooping
The food is amazing, prices are decent, and the amount of food in one serving is almost overwhelming. Very delicious.
