Since 1978, Mass Farmers Markets (MFM) has partnered with farmers, consumers, and communities to improve the health of individuals, strengthen community vitality, and enhance local farm viability. In 2015, MFM launched a new vision and five year strategic plan to enhance the farmer’s market network in Massachusetts, and to connect more individuals to local and healthy food.
I go here every week during the season for my produce. The two anchor farms are Kimball's and Dick's. There are three smaller farm stalls, a cheese vendor, a meat vendor, a bread vendor, and sometimes seafood. Get there shortly after noon for the best picks. Beware the ladies who line up for greens! They are fierce. Don't fight them for a spot in line.
Love this place. Especially the selection of Heirloom tomatoes, Jamaica man's fresh ghost peppers, and the cider selection. Fantastic market!!!
Smaller market but nice assortment of meats, dairy, pasta, seafood, baked goods, and five or six produce stands. Only reason it is four stars is they need to figure out a better system for people using government benefits. They often have to wait in very long and inefficient lines.
Great selection of fresh veggies. Very fragrant seasonable selection. Wish they were around more often
I can't speak to the quality of the products at this place, and for all I know maybe they're fine. But the fact that they take up half of a parking lot that already has limited spaces is what really pisses me off about them. I've never purchased anything there so maybe they have good products and maybe the people are nice, but they need to find a better place.
